What we do

We carry out investigations of sites of archaeological interest, broadly in the South Cambridgeshire area, by simple field walking, land surveying, and using geophysical techniques.  

Principally we carry out resistivity and magnetometry surveys. 

We attend community events and demonstrate our equipment to the public and interested groups. We foster an appreciation of our archaeological heritage in the local community as well as in the local schools.

We produce reports on all sites for the local group involved.

For our 'own' sites we submit information to the local Sites and Monuments record office when we reach an end point.

We don't:

• Carry out excavations.
• Compete or conflict with commercial firms or professional organisations.
